For customer support teams

not a paragraph.

Most “how do I” tickets have a three-click answer. Record it once and reply with a guide your customer can follow on their own screen.

In short

Chronika is a way for support teams to write how-to articles from real screens. Record the answer once, edit the steps, and share a read-only link or export to Markdown or HTML. The same guide can also serve as an internal how-to for your agents, kept in one team workspace.

01How it works

Record it. Share it. Fix it. Keep it.

A customer writes in asking where to download an invoice. You click three times in the billing screen, then type it all out. Record the three clicks instead, and the reply is the link.

  1. Capture it as you work

Turn a solved ticket into a guide

When you answer the same question for the third time, record the fix. Walk through it in your own browser or admin tool and every click lands as a step. The reply to the next customer is already written.

    • Record in Chrome or Edge, or any Windows program your team uses
    • Record only the part that matters; add more steps to the guide later
    • Say why a step matters as you click, and the narration stays with it
  2. Share it where work happens

Reply with a link, or take the file

A public read-only link opens for a customer who has no Chronika account. When the steps belong in a help center, export HTML or Markdown. For an email attachment, export a PDF.

    • Public links you can switch off if the guide goes out of date
    • Click rings drawn into every export
    • Guide Me can walk a customer through the live page, through the extension
  3. Fix the painful parts

Keep the agent’s side off the customer’s page

Support tools show other people’s names, internal notes and admin controls. Record with test data where you can, then blur or crop what is left, and hide the steps that are only for agents. Password fields are blurred for you.

    • Blur, crop and annotate each screenshot
    • Hide a step you want to keep but not show
    • Add a tip on the step where customers most often go wrong
  4. Keep the library in order

A shelf for every part of the product

File guides in collections by topic: billing, accounts, set-up. Everyone on the team can read; editors add and fix. When the product changes, edit the steps that changed and leave the rest alone.

    • Team workspace with owner, admin, editor and viewer roles
    • Reorder, duplicate and delete steps as screens change
    • Trash catches a deleted guide before it is gone

02Example guides

Guides you would record

These are the kinds of guides a support team could record. They are examples, not customer work.

  1. 01How to reset your account password
  2. 02How to change the email address on your account
  3. 03How to download an invoice
  4. 04How to invite a teammate
  5. 05How to export your data
  6. 06How to update your payment details

Over €1,500 needs your manager’s approval first.

03What you get

What Chronika does for a support team

  • Records the answer in a browser tab or any Windows program
  • Shares by read-only public link that needs no account to open
  • Exports to HTML and Markdown for a help center you already run
  • Blurs password fields and lets you blur or crop the rest
  • Lets you hide steps, add tips and annotate screenshots
  • Keeps guides in collections inside a team workspace

04Questions

Before you start

Can a customer follow a guide without an account?
Yes. Turn on the guide’s public link and send it. The link is read-only, and the screenshots behind it are served only through that link.
Will customer data in my recording be visible?
Only password fields are blurred automatically. Anything else on screen is captured as it is, so record with test data where you can, and blur or crop the rest before you share.
Is Chronika a help center?
No. It makes the guides and the links. If you already have a help center, export a guide as HTML or Markdown and place it there.
